Practice Overview

Ms. Haas focuses on employment-related legal counseling and litigation. She has represented public and private sector employees through trial in state and federal court as well as before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the Department of Unemployment Assistance. In her practice Ms. Haas represents employees in all stages of the employment relationship, including review of non-competition agreements, performance counseling, reasonable accommodation requests, and negotiating severance agreements. Prior to joining the Law Office of Joseph Sulman, Ms. Haas practiced for seven years at another Boston area employment law practice where she focused on representation of employees aggrieved by race, gender, and disability discrimination. Ms. Haas gained insight into practices at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination early in her legal career through a year-long internship in the agency’s legal department. A New England native, Ms. Haas grew up in Connecticut and currently resides with her family in Arlington.
